PADI Dry Suit Diver Course

PADI Dry Suit Diver Course

Although diving in warm, tropical waters in summer can be refreshing to stand up against the heat, when you decide to get a dive holiday in winter, even at tropical destinations, water gets considerably colder. And when diving, for sure you want to enjoy your dives at the fullest and stay warm. With the PADI Dry Suit Diver Course, you will learn the benefits you can get diving with one.

To subscribe to the PADI Dry Suit Diver Course, you should be in the possession of the PADI Open Water Diver certificate and be 12 years of age or older.

This course is a full day course. It consist of the knowledge development, one dive in confined water and two open water dives.

Your instructor will introduce you to the different kinds of dry suits so you can make the right decision when you purchase a dry suit. Once this done, he will also overview all possible undergarment that can be worn under the dry suit. Next you will learn how you can maintain and store your dry suit, with beside this how to make basic repairs to your dry suit. With this course you will also get familiarized with buoyancy control skills when diving with a dry suit. You will develop the knowledge about the planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of diving with a dry suit.

You will practice the ascent and descent techniques of diving with a dry suit.

As you will see in the PADI Dry Suit Diver Course a dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water.

Where a wetsuit lets in a small amount of water that is subsequently warmed against the body, the dry suit is water and air-tight. Zipped into your dry suit, you are sealed at the neck and wrists to keep the out and a layer of air inside. This maintains your body temperature and helps you to control your buoyancy and positioning underwater.

Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

Let us, at Badr Divers, introduce you to the world of dry suit diving by giving you the PADI Dry Suit Diver Course.
